Neidig's Exercise for Education BEGINS!
What are we raising money for?
The money raised allows all Neidig students to attend field trips for free and supports educational assemblies, classroom funds, leadership T-shirts, special events, and more!
My student came home talking about prizes and raffle tickets. How does that work?
All students who participate in Exercise for Education by registering a fundraising page or collecting donations can earn raffle tickets for a chance to win over 50 prizes! Here's how your student can earn raffle tickets:
Register online by clicking here between September 28 and October 11 = they earn 5 raffle tickets
Receive 1 donation = they earn 5 raffle tickets
Receive 5 donations = they earn 5 additional raffle tickets
Share your personal fundraising page to Facebook through the Boosterthon website = they earn 3 raffle tickets
Share your personal fundraising page via email through the Boosterthon website = they earn 2 raffle tickets
If your family donated a prize to Exercise for Education, your student will receive 5 additional raffle tickets. And if your student's classroom achieves one of these milestones, they'll also receive 5 additional raffle tickets:
Classroom with the highest percentage of registrations
Classroom with the most number of donations
Classroom with the most number of Facebook and email shares
Wow, that's great! What do I have to do?
Register by clicking here as soon as possible. If you participated last year, click on "Login" and use your previous login information. If this is your first year setting up a fundraising page through Boosterthon, please click on "Sign Up"
and "I'm a Parent/Guardian" and then follow the instructions to create an account. Once you're logged in, search for "Neidig" to connect to our school's fundraiser. Then enter your student's name and select their homeroom. When you finish adding one student, you'll be prompted to add more if you have multiple children at Neidig. You must register by Sunday, October 11, to earn raffle tickets for your students.Reach out to your family and friends, asking them to donate money to Neidig. The more money we raise, the more we can do for ALL Neidig students! Donations will be accepted through Friday, October 30.
What if I have someone who wants to give another way?
No problem! Your friends and family can also donate by sending in cash or checks made out to "Neidig PAL." This will still earn raffle tickets for your student(s). Please note the student's name and grade when sending in these donations. They can be mailed to Neidig Elementary School, ATTN: PAL, 201 N. Penros Street, Quakertown, PA 18951.
When is Exercise for Education?
Our actual Exercise for Education day will take place on Friday, October 23. Each classroom will spend 1 hour outside visiting various stations and trying out different exercises. More information will be sent in October. A huge thanks to our local business partners for their help with this event.
