Mr. Godshalk and Dr. Kenyon become Human Sundaes

At Neidig Elementary School, the People Aiding Learning (PAL) organization plays a vital role in raising funds to support our students and provide enriching school experiences. Each year, PAL raises funds to cover field trips, provide classroom resources, sponsor educational assemblies and family activities, and supply leadership t-shirts for every Neidig student. They also ensure that every fifth-grade student receives a yearbook and has the opportunity to participate fully in school events.

How does PAL do this? With their annual “Exercise for Education” fundraiser. Kicking off the school year, this event encourages students to stay active while raising funds to support their school community. Through this initiative, PAL raised $25,000 this year, helping to ensure that all Neidig students have access to meaningful educational experiences.

To add an extra layer of excitement, Principal Mr. Godshalk and Assistant Principal Dr. Kenyon promised to become “human sundaes” if fundraising goals were achieved – and last week, it was a very sticky Friday!
