Thank you to our families, community partners, Dr. Hoffman, Mr. Godshalk and of course - Mrs. Derr, for a fantastic Neidig Family Fun Night!
The evening was filled with fun experiences for our families – like reading to therapy dogs, Malta and Amelia, playing fun literacy and phonics games in the cafeteria, shopping at the book fair, and creating colorful door hangers.
Families were also welcomed to the gym for not one, but two mystery readers of the night - Interim Superintendent, Dr. Hoffman, and Principal, Mr. Godshalk - reading favorites like "The Interrupting Chicken and the Elephant of Surprise," by: David Ezra Stein and "Pete the Cat," by: Eric Litwin, James Dean and Kimberly Dean.
It was a wonderful night celebrating reading and creativity at Neidig Elementary! Thank you to everyone who helped bring this event to life!
