Veterans Day takes place on November 11th every year. Veterans Day is celebrated all over the country with parades and celebrations. Neidig Elementary will be honoring our Vets on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. We would like to show our Veterans how much we value their service while inspiring our Neidig children. We are inviting Veterans who have a connection to a Neidig student (family members or friends) to join us on this special day to share their experiences in the armed forces.
If you have a Veteran who you would like us to honor, please complete this Google Form by Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
Veterans who can attend in person, our celebration will take place at Neidig on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 2:30-3:40. Please complete this form if you are able to attend in person.
We can also honor Veterans who are unable to attend in person. If you have a family member who is a Vet (either living or deceased), you can complete the Wall of Heroes Template to be hung in our school hallways. If you completed one last year and your child was not in 5th grade, we still have it! You may complete more than one tribute. Wall of Heroes Template
