What is PAL?

PAL stands for People Aiding Learning, and we are the Parent/Teacher Organization (same concept as a PTO) for Neidig Elementary School. Our goal is to provide the foundation for a close personal relationship between your home and our school community. Through our events, activities and fundraisers, PAL is able to financially support opportunities for all students such as class trips, assemblies, and equipment that enhances their education.

** Be on the lookout for more information about our Family Fun Nights! **
Family Fun and Spirit Wear are just some of the great things PAL is doing to build character in our children and unity in our families.

When does PAL meet?

All families are invited to attend our monthly general information meetings where important school and event information is discussed.  Meetings are typically held at the school in the Neidig library.  However, we will be meeting virtually via Google meetings until the health & safety guidelines allow us to meet in person.

Great Question!
Reach out to our PAL team at or inquire with our Principal Mr. Godshalk.

Our main fundraising event is the Race for Education.  This event, that is held on a school day afternoon in late October, is a walk that both students and teachers participate in.  Students demonstrate teamwork, school spirit and positive character all while raising funds to support our school!  We solicit donations each year by asking families to provide addresses of people who they believe would like to contribute money to our school.  This fundraiser raises the money needed for the PAL 2021-22 budget.
