What
is PAL?
PAL stands for People Aiding Learning, and we are the Parent/Teacher Organization (same concept as a PTO)
for Neidig Elementary School. Our goal is to foster a close personal relationship between your home and our
school community. We host social events (Family Fun Nights) throughout the year, promote charitable giving
in our community, and sell Neidig Spirit Wear. These are just some of the great things PAL is doing to build
character in our children and unity with our families! We also organize fundraisers which enable us to
financially support opportunities for all students, such as class trips, assemblies, room supplies, and equipment
that enhances their education.

When does PAL meet?
All families are invited to attend our monthly General Meetings where important school and event information is
discussed. This is a great opportunity to become involved, share your suggestions and provide valuable input. Meetings
are held in-person at the school. We will also be offering an option to live stream the meetings via Google Meet to
accommodate busy schedules and those families that would prefer virtual participation.
Note: At our in-person meetings, children are welcome as to avoid the added task of coordinating childcare. 😊
How Can I Get Involved? WE HOPE THAT YOU WILL JOIN US!
Great Question!
Reach out to our PAL team at NeidigPAL@gmail.com or inquire with our Principal Mr. Godshalk.
FUNDRAISING @ Neidig
Our main fundraiser for the year is the Race for Education event. This event, which is held on a school day afternoon in
late October, is a walk that both students and teachers participate in. Students demonstrate teamwork, school spirit and
positive character, all while raising funds to support our school! This event provides essential funds needed to support the
PAL 2022 – 2023 budget, which focuses directly on enhancing our children’s learning experiences. If you have any ideas
or would like to help in any way, please outreach to our PAL team
